Chapter 11(Kite Runner)

In chapter 11, times have pasted. Baba and Amir live in America(Fremont, California to be exact). Baba is adjusting to this new environment but Amir is already adjusted. Baba works at a gas station and Amir is finishing high school and going to college. Baba notices that everything is different in America and their not much trust like there was in Afghanistan. On the night of Amir's graduation, Baba takes him out to drink and also gifts him a car. Amir drives the car to the beach and also through beautiful neighborhoods. Amir also tells his father that he plans to major in writing in college however Baba doesn't approve but it's too late since Amir already made up his mind.
