"Chapter 9"Day 7

To start this off, I would like to say that I really liked Chapter 9. We finally got to meet Jefferson since the trial. It really broke my heart when Miss Emma was trying her best to be there for Jefferson but he was to focused on the execution which is understandable. Yet, Jefferson seems not to care about anything anymore since he was being executed. I also took note of how the jail cells and overall colored where treated differently from the whites even in the jail. I also would love to know why the officer didn't like Grant and he barely knew him. But, I assumed maybe since Grant was an educated black man then that was why. All in all, this was my all-time favorite chapter.
