Chapter 7 "Reflection" (Day 5)

In this chapter, I got a glimpse of how good of a teacher Grant really is. Grant rehearsed with the kids every day due to the upcoming of the Superintendents arrival. He made sure they were clean, ready and prepared for whatever the superintendent would throw at them. The students were made to look studious and well put together which is what Grant achieved. So when the superintendent did arrive all the classes were ready. The superintendent, Dr. Joseph Morgan was serious and scary to both the children and Mr.Wiggins.All the children knew what was expected of them by Dr.joseph and they did just that. Well, Besides that one boy who was bad and Mr.Wiggins knew wasn't the best choice. Yet, the students such as Gloria, who was afraid but did as told stood out and got a compliment from Dr.Morgan.After the inspection, I saw how rude Dr.Morgan was about Grant asking for more supplies for the school and the student's education. He seemed very off-putting and could care less. Due to the fact he cared more for the white schools than the colored schools.
