Chapter 12-13 "Day 10"

In Chapter 12, I could see that Grant didn't know what to tell Miss Emma about what occurred at his visit with Jefferson. He couldn't think of a lie which I know was probably very frustrating for him. Fast forward to when he's at the rainbow club and Jackie Robinson was there. Which at first I didn't think the book was talking about the "Jackie Robinson".As in the baseball player who impacted the athletic and black cultural society in one. Yet it was, Grant continues to state how all the people knew everything there was to know about Jackie but didn't say anything about the other members that were on his team.

In Chapter 13, It seems as though that Grant no longer believes in god, so he doesn't want to attend church with Tante Lou and Miss Eloise Bouie. Grant stated when he came back from the university, that he doesn't believe anymore and he didn't want her to for force her beliefs on him. Jefferson also continues to lie about his meeting with Jefferson. He even lies to the reverend. The reverend is also concerned about if they talked about God. Which they have not. Vivian then shows up at Grants front door.
