Objective Summary:

“The Wild Effect” is about how “Wild” by Cheryl Strayed has influenced and impacted so many with her memoir. It talks more about “PTCA” and how it played a big role in the actual movie and protecting and preserving the trail for recordable access. Also for the shooting of the movie with Reese Witherspoon and how they had to make sure everything went smoothly. The article also discussed how “Wild” has influenced many to go on a hike for self-discovery. Overall, the article was very informational on how much goes in preserving and importance of the trail, the people on it, and wildlife that comes with it.

Three Facts:

1)Reese Witherspoon played Cheryl Strayed in the movie adaptation of “Wild”.

2)John Ptak “PCTA”  donor and also helped them with film since he works in the film industry.

3)”Wild” the movie was released on Dec.5

Two Interesting Things Learned:

1)Reese Witherspoon an Academy Award Winning Actress plays Cheryl in the movie adaptation.

2)That Liz Bergeron cares for her job since she stated that”It’s the people I meet who make my work so rewarding”.

Two Unanswered  Questions:

1)Was “Wild” the movie successful?

2)As for Cheryl how does she feel on being able to impact so many with her book and now this movie?

Significant: a particular meaning; indicating something

Importance: The word shows how “Wild” the book and movie has produced importance to self-discovery and peace.

Genuine: authentic and sincere

Importance: This word shows how “PCTA” really cares for the trail and representation of it.

The Connections I made after reading “The Wild Effect” was that it really reminded me of the time I went on my own “self-discovery”.
