He was afraid of choosing happiness

He was afraid of choosing happiness
His doubts limited him from joy within,
Such unconfidence fought his loneliness,
Maybe he hast taught to be selfless than.
They were inseparable together but lost forever,
The joy he brought to him was fair enough,
He faced his superiority over his endeavors,
Like a boiled egg he was not too tough.
But independence became his dependent,
His fears were gone but his happiness stuck,
He regained security that never ended,
For the void he left behind has no luck.
Maybe he was vulnerable to his charms,
Which made him regret his love of harm.
